Graduate of the faculty of law of the University of Warsaw. From 1973 to 1993, experience in local administration and industry; since December 1993, staff member of the OSW, initially as head of the Ukrainian Department and since 1999, as analyst in the Department for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova.
