Conference "Transport infrastructure and strategic and spatial planning in Polish-Czech relations"

On 5 October in Wrocław at Hotel Mercure Wrocław Centrum a conference entitled
"Transport infrastructure and strategic and spatial planning in Polish-Czech relations – building cohesion and sustainable growth of Central Europe" took place. It was organised jointly by the Centre for Eastern Studies, the Institute of International Relations in Prague and the Office of the Marshal of the Dolnośląskie Voivodship.
 
Other institutions which assisted in the organisation of the conference include the Voivodship Urban Planning Office in Wrocław (WBU), Transport Consultants Group “TOR” and the Prague-based Association for International Affairs (AMO). The event has been organised within the framework of a Polish-Czech analytical platform and has received assistance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the Polish Foreign Ministry as part of a programme aimed at supporting Polish-Czech relations (the Polish-Czech Forum) and the activities accompanying the Polish presidency of the Visegrad Group (2012–2013).
