On 25 March 2013 the Centre for Eastern Studies hosted Prof. Marie Mendras, a research fellow at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) in Paris and a professor at Sciences Po, author of the book "Russian Politics. The Paradox of a Weak State".The meeting was dedicated to the issues of Russian domestic evolution, Russia's foreign policy and its role in the international arena, as well as outlook for development of this country.
