On 24 May 2013 a seminar took place at OSW entitled “Polish business in the East. The condition of and the prospects for the development of Polish investments in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine”. It was organised jointly by the Centre for Eastern Studies and the “New Eastern Europe”bi-monthly.The guests included Jacek Piechota, president of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, Bogdan Benczak, president of PZU Ukraina, and Marcin Kamil Kowalczyk, general director of OOO Bella, a Russian subsidiary company of the Polish company TZMO. The debate was moderated by Dr Adam Eberhardt, deputy director of OSW.
