The problem of restitution of cultural objects transferred to the East as a result of World War 2 was the subject of a closed debate which took place at OSW on 21 June. The seminar was attended by representatives of state administration and several invited experts.
An introduction to the debate was delivered by art historian from the Stefan Batory Foundation Piotr Kosiewski, director of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage Jacek Miler and director of the Centre for Polish-Russian Dialogue and Understanding Sławomir Dębski. The debate was moderated by deputy director of OSW Adam Eberhardt.
