On 30 July Executive Director of the International Visegrad Fund (IVF) Karla Wursterová paid a visit to OSW. The seminar in which she participated was dedicated to the Fund’s activities in Eastern Europe and in the Balkans. The meeting was attended by OSW analysts and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Solidarity Fund PL and NGO’s. The debates concerned the method of using the IVF funds by organizations from the Visegrad Group (V4) states and the synergy between the IVF activities, national assistance mechanisms and the operations of the European Endowment for Democracy (EED). In the upcoming days the IVF is expected to announce a call for proposals for further subsidies within the V4EaP programme focused on the cooperation of entities from the V4 states in the Eastern Partnership countries.
