On 6 March participants of the Higher Command Studies Course from the Baltic Defence College (Tartu/Estonia) paid a visit to OSW. The course is designed for military professionals from the Baltic countries and other NATO member states, as well as NATO partner countries. The meeting was devoted to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Russia’s foreign and security policy, the situation in Ukraine as well as EU/NATO reactions. The speakers from OSW included: Marek Menkiszak (Head of the Russian Department), Tadeusz Iwański (research fellow in the Department for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova) and Justyna Gotkowska (coordinator of a research project on security and defence in Northern Europe).
