On 29 April OSW hosted a seminar devoted to energy policy of the Russian Federation, with the participation of Tatiana Mitrova (Ph.D.), an esteemed Russian expert on energy, the head of the Department of Oil and Gas at the Energy Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The discussion focused on the major internal issues and challenges of the Russian energy sector (primarily in the oil and gas sector) and on external energy policy of the Russian Federation (in particular the prospects of Russia's energy relations with the EU and China).
