New executive director of the OSW

On 15 February 2016 Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland nominated Adam Eberhardt for the office of executive director of the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW). Mateusz Gniazdowski has became the new deputy director.

Adam Eberhardt was born in 1975. He holds a Ph.D. in political science. Since 2008 he held the post of deputy director of the OSW. He has also worked as a head of the Research Office in the Polish Institute of International Affairs and foreign correspondent of the Polish Press Agency (PAP) in Moscow.

Mateusz Gniazdowski was born in 1974. He holds a Ph.D. in political science. He worked in the Polish Institute of International Affairs from 2004 to 2010. Next, he became the head of the Central European Department in the OSW.
