On 26 January OSW organised an expert seminar focused on promoting and supporting the process of EU enlargement in the Western Balkans. The panel discussion participants included Jelica Minić, head of the Forum for International Relations at the European Movement in Serbia, Mila Brnović from the European Movement in Montenegro, Hana Semanić, an expert from the Center for European Neighborhood Studies (CENS) at the Central European University in Budapest and Marta Szpala from OSW’s Central European Department. Poland’s policy towards the Western Balkan states was discussed by Anna Sochańska, deputy director of the European Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting included a presentation of the results of the research project V4 - Backing the Advocacy Strategy for the European Integration of the Western Balkans, and a brief discussion of the activity of the WB6 Advocacy Group – a joint initiative of non-governmental organisations from the Balkan states.
