Cieszyn Think Visegrad Meeting

The Centre for Eastern Studies organised the annual expert meeting of the Think Visegrad consortium in Cieszyn on September 21-22. During the meeting the Polish, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian analysts summarised the Polish Presidency in the Visegrad Group (2020/2021) and discussed the challenges of the ongoing Hungarian Presidency (2021/2022) and the V4 countries’ perspective of the EU’s open strategic autonomy.
A workshop was also held on Central European socio-economic development, organised in cooperation with the Global Arena Research Institute (GARI).

During the event, which was co-financed by the International Visegrad Fund, a consultation of the national coordinators of the Think Visegrad consortium was also held.
