On 15 November, the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW) was visited by Roman Vassilenko, the deputy minister of foreign affairs of Kazakhstan. In an interview with the OSW's experts, Minister Vassilenko presented Astana's view of the situation in the Central Asian region and its neighborhood and presented Kazakhstan's priorities in its relations with the EU, especially in the context of the new EU strategy towards Central Asia, which is being prepared. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Margulan Baimukhan and diplomats from the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Warsaw.
