On 14 June at the OSW headquarters the Centre’s experts, the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and several Polish think-tanks met with a group of journalists from the Balkan countries. Journalists visited Poland at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with this year's Polish presidency in the Berlin Process and the upcoming Western Balkans Summit in Poznań.
The senior expert of the OSW Marta Szpala informed about the Centre’s initiatives within the Berlin Process. Director Beata Jaczewska from the European Policy Department (MFA) presented a project of activities during the summit in Poznań on 3-5 July, especially as part of the Civil Society Forum and the Business Forum. Representatives of the Polish Institute of International Affairs, Institute of Central Europe and The Warsaw Institute briefly presented the activities and research interests of their institutions in scope of the Berlin Process. During the prolonged debate guests from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia and Serbia as well as OSW and MFA experts discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Balkan states and the European Union.
